So I finally got a chance to try the Cinna and Watson blends tonight, here are my thoughts.
I could smell the hazelnut right away when I opened the bag, and it almost smells like coffee which is probably due to the mocha nut mate. I brewed it for about a minute and a half since I don’t like my teas too dark. It has a very rich flavor that does remind me of coffee, I added milk and sugar after the initial taste and it’s wonderful. Like I said very rich but with just a hint of spice from the cinnamon.
However I did get a bit of a headache like I did with the Lestrade blend which I think I can now confirm is due to the hazelnut, still a great cup of tea, highly recommended.
The smell of this tea is amazing, the cinnamon is very strong and pleasant. Again I brewed this one for about a minute and a half before trying it plain. Could barely taste the cinnamon at first but when I added milk and sugar it began to come through more. The Earl Grey is the most prominent flavor but I’ve never had the Irish breakfast green on its own so it’s hard to tell. Overall a very comforting tea that I think will go well with a blanket and a good book.
